Happy Half Birthday Anthony!

Anthony, you are 6 months old! We love that big gummy smile, adorable cheeks and sweet personality that keeps coming out more each day!  

anthony is 5 months old

how is it possible we are almost half way through anthony's first year? Time is quickly passing and we are trying to enjoy every minute.   Anthony is now on a really great schedule where he is eating well AND sleeping well.  Some days he even gives me a 3 hour afternoon nap... I vow to not take that for granted!

Anthony you are a joy! I love how you wake up in the morning with a smile on your face ready to start the day! At 5 months you are starting to scoot, you are becoming more interactive with your toys, and you are taking notice of big brother Eli and smiling at him when he comes over to you!

Time is flying by and Anthony is 4 months old today! It is amazing how fast he is growing and how quickly we have had to put away all his 0-6 month baby clothes.
It is so much fun to watch his eyes light up when he gets ahold of his new found feet, which seems to provide him endless entertainment! 

Anthony is a happy go lucky baby these days and enjoys his sleep, which I am truly thankful for!

first tailgate of the season

Anthony's first tailgate.  He had a very concerned look on his face the whole time.  Probably because he feared the outcome of the game - another Purdue loss.

Win or Lose, we still have fun hanging out with family and friends and watching the marching band perform!

 There was a point when I was pregnant with Eli and my dad had to undergo a serious neck surgery to remove a life threatening tumor.  I was so broken having to think of the possibility of losing my dad, and how badly I wanted him to meet his second grandson on the way.  

Life is so unpredictable and I thank God every chance I get that my dad is alive and doing well and that he is able to have these sweet moments with his grandkids.

he must get his love for onions from Jon...

after Eli was done eating he wanted to wander... all over the place.  He was "stomping" on all the "big circles" and trying to check out the food selection at all the other tailgates...

 Anthony fell asleep just as the storm was rolling in... and that was our cue to hit the road!

when we got home a package had arrived with the outfits I ordered Eli and Anthony for Doug and Kiki's wedding! Anthony was the only one willing to let me play dress up - lol!  

How cute are these suspender pants? Don't worry he won't be wearing these with a jersey at the wedding...

Eli kept trying to climb on Anthony, and that was the end of that!

all in all a great saturday morning! Now time to go get ready for work
